Conquer the Zip Lines
Whether you’re a zip line novice or seasoned rider, Toro Verde’s options will outdo almost any you’ve ever ridden. Begin on “The Monster” if you dare. At a mind-boggling 2.5 kilometers long, The Monster rightfully earns its name and its place among the longest zip lines in the world. Your harness is strapped in a superhero-style flying position, lying stomach-down rather than sitting, and when your guide lets go, you’ll soar at speeds in excess of 150 kmh. It’s as close to being a human airplane as you will ever get, but make sure you open your eyes for the sweeping views of the tree canopy and rolling green mountains.
Next in line is “The Beast”, another lying-down zip line boasting equally gorgeous vistas, but with a length (1.4 km) and speed (100 km) that are slightly less intimidating. In addition to these two impressive lines, you can soar along eight zip lines connected by suspension bridges and walkways amid the lush tree canopies on the Zip Line Canopy Tour.

Challenge Your Mind and Body
Toro Verde’s “Escape If You Can” obstacle course is another one of the park’s unforgettable adventure tours. Complete with 35 challenges suspended in mid-air, the course’s bridges, rope nets, wobbling barrels and other features will push your mind, body and equilibrium to the limit.
For those who enjoyed “The Monster” and want maximum thrill, “The Wild Bull” is just your speed. The course includes spine-tingling suspension bridges and high-speed zip lines, ending with a 70-meter rappel into the rainforest.

Know Before You Go
Each of Toro Verde’s tours has weight and height restrictions; the obstacle course has an additional minimum age requirement. Check each tour’s information page for specific restrictions. Tours are priced individually, but if you’re in the mood for an all-day adventure, there are combo packages available. Be sure to check the park’s hours, as they change during the off-season.
Toro Verde also has an on-site restaurant to fuel your adventures. The café serves farm-fresh dishes including sharable plates and regional specialties such as churrasco steak and Boricua lasagna with ground beef, mozzarella and sweet plantains.

Getting There
Fly in to the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU), from destinations worldwide on many airline carriers. Ground transport via bus, taxi or car rental is available at the airport. Toro Verde Adventure Park is a little over an hour southwest from San Juan via car. Some private shuttles are also available.
